I am Polish artist currently living and working in Wiltshire, UK, making unique
upcycled jewellery and home accessories out of daily newspapers.
BLURECO is a natural result of my great fascination with paper, especially
newspapers. It is also a result of the way I live trying to follow the 3Rs rule -
reduce, reuse, recycle - whenever I can. By working and experimenting with newspapers I want to prove that it is valuable and interesting material to work with.
My works are created using only waste paper and techniques that help me reduce waste. Paper pulp is made from scraps left from different projects and then transformed into new objects and jewellery. And since I don't add any hardeners paper pulp leftovers can be processed again to make new pulp. This process produces nearly zero waste.
I explore, experiment and constantly learn.
I also believe that we can all waste less.
